What we look for.
The minimum bar plus strong candidate signals.
Minimum Requirements
- Registered in SAM.gov You'll need an active SAM.gov registration with a UEI. We verify before teaming.
- General Liability Insurance ($1M+) Standard federal contracting requirement. Most contracts require $1M per occurrence / $2M aggregate.
- Workers Compensation Or state equivalent. Required if you have W-2 employees performing on the contract.
- Clean SAM.gov Exclusion Status We verify via SAM.gov that you are not debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded.
Strong Candidates
- Past performance in your NAICS lane CPARS ratings, prior federal awards, or strong commercial track record. Helps us bid with confidence.
- HUBZone, 8(a), SDVOSB, MBE/WBE certified Strengthens subcontracting plans for our bids. Multi-cert preferred.
- National reach or strong regional capability Most federal contracts span multiple states or regions. Vendors with national presence are preferred.
- Capability to scale Some contracts start small and grow. We look for subs who can scale up.
